Nest and Nomad
My process for the Nest and Nomad designs were fairly similar to the Union St. Deli, but for this project, I created three possible designs for the same brand in order to give myself practice creating a wide range of thematic designs. The first design was created as if Nest and Nomad was a family home furniture retailer, specializing in family friendly and functional pieces. The second was simple and clean, centered around trendy mid-century modern décor and furniture that a young millennial might enjoy in a dorm room or first apartment. For my final design, I wanted to push myself by using more color, as well as brighter, more intense colors throughout the whole design. The final nest and nomad concept was to do a more eclectic, high-energy furniture store for young people who might have a little higher willingness to spend in their search for creating a space that reflects their personality.
